Oh the burning midnight sun!

First off:
HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TO MY BROTHER BUZZ!! He is now old enough to purchase and legally consume alcohol! woot woot!

One of my favorite pictures of me and Buzz!

Okay, so I have been really really bad I've decided on taking pictures this summer. I went to look at this picture that I just took, and have only taken like 4 since my pictures with Hans, Holly, Kelsie and Kierstin at the airport. That was over a month ago! And a big reason was cause it was making the pics fuzzy, and I didn't want to deal with it! Anyway, here's a picture from the results of my day working today. It's not as bad as it looks...okay, yes it is! It doesn't hurt bad now, but I'm guessing it will! And my face is pretty fried, and my left ear. That's the side the sun was coming from. So it was my first day working for the borough painting. I sat around for like 2 1/2 hours for different reasons, then finally got started working around and on the Soldotna Elementary hockey rink, for about 7 1/2 hours. Thus the burn. It sure was nice outside though! i don't know what I'll be doing tomorrow, but next week I'll be going out of town for sure, either to Ancho Point (I hope not) or to Homer. For 4 days, and total for like a month. Nice per diem here it comes! And i think I'm going to try to put all that extra per diem money towards this next Christmas. yes, we are still getting together (siblings) I've given Millie an ultimatum! I've decided that since everyone is being kinda lame about Christmas and down hearted about it, I figured it would be more of a sure thing if someone were to get married at Christmas, so I dubbed Millie! She has a deadline, and is fully cooperating. I told her the good side of this is she gets to pick the location, so we all have to work around her schedule (a little bit!) Okay then, keep that open!
Oh yeah, and I don't like my work boots. They have to be at least safety toed, so i got some boots, and it was really hard finding guys boots small enough to fit both my feet, cause I have two different sized feet. So my left boot is a bit big and I got blisters. I'm going to try to find some of those safety-toed tennis shoes. much better for me! and not as hot!
okay, I'm outty! Nothin' else to report!
Oh wait, I did get keys today for work. They are keys to all of the schools in the district! look out! just kidding, i can only use them for work related purposes!

I stumbled across your blog when I googled 'Simpsonville 2nd Ward'. That's my ward, so I know Elder Buzz. He is such a great guy! We were sad to see him leave this transfer! But I guess we couldn't keep him forever!

YEAH! If rappelling down the side of the school, or going and rigging your high school grades are work related, then I'M IN! j/k Hey, Jen and her little brother Mitch came and visited us for like 16 hours. It was awesome to see and hang out w/ her. We played ROCK BAND (jealous?) and then we went and cut her hair. She cut it herself one day, so we just evened it up. ANYWHO- I love the Christmas idea! But Millie better get on the ball! DANG GINA!!!!
Love, Bananiebutts

Holy Cow! I can't believe how much Buzz looks like Hans, I honestly didn't believe it was actually him until I enlarged the picture. Looks like he's doing well!
That sunburn picture looks a little familiar Heidi, I think I might have seen something like that before, like maybe at Youth conference, or Girls camp, or working outside. That's all right though, I just did it again this week also at an amusement park.
Wish I could come hang out with you up there in good ol' AK!

Awesome song! This was for this semester's Guitars Unplugged!
