Yeah baybay!

Hey, I thought I'd post some exciting news...I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico! Just kidding, I didn't really! The real news is that I got the painting job with the Borough! It's the position of a painter's helper. Pay is 12-$14/hour, and I do 4-10s, so I'll have Fri-Sun off all summer! A major project we'll be doing is in Homer painting the middle school there, so I'll go down on Monday, stay in the school overnights, then come back Thursday. And the sweet thing is, when we go out of town, we are given $80/day per diem for food or if I wanted to stay in a hotel. I won't be staying in a hotel, and definitely won't use $80/day on food, so I can just pocket that money! It's like making an extra $240/week when we go down there! i am just so excited about this! AND, if I wanted to and could find one, I can take a bike down there on one of the trucks and have that to get around after work, like ride to the spit and stuff. What a great work out! So, that's that just so you all know! I'm pretty stoked! Peace!

That's great that you got the job you wanted! We're doing pretty good down here too. We're not quite sure when we're going to make it up to AK. We do know when we're going to Europe though, that would be May 30! Good luck in Homer!

Congrats! Maybe you can grow your hair out and put it in dread-lochs, wear long flowing skirts and carry your guitar on your back...oh, also you should probably wear some black combat boots. Ha-ha-ha! Go Homer!!!

Heidi!!! Ok, so to answer all of your questions: We're going to Paris, Amsterdam, and London. All of your other suggestions will be visited by the rest of the family before we get there. They are staying for 2.5 weeks and we can only stay for 1. And as far as Thanksgiving!!! I already asked Jared last week if I could offer that to everyone again. We're looking at buying a house in August, so we will hopefully have a lot more room for people to stay in and that would be great! Just hoping it works out makes me all excited!
