San Fran and Redding!

Just a fair warning, there are a LOT of pictures on this post and they are not in order of how they happened!

I know, great first pic for the post! We went to the Turtle Bay...exploratorium? Museum? They had an exhibit all about poo! They had an amazing one on Legos, but I don't have those pics.

Me and Bai on our way back from Redding at In and Out

This used to be a bathtub...well I guess it still is, but it's for lounging purposes. This is at Bailey's aunt's in Redding. Quite comfy!

Buzz and Bai taking out my corn rows
We did a turkey trot on Thanksgiving up in Redding. It was only a 2-miler, but it was fun! Pre race with our bibs!
It was a tad chilly!

After the race with the race mascot! Lars, me, Merit, Turkey, Mike, Teemaree, Buzz and Bailey

Oh these are SOOO glorious!!!!

Will someone in Alaska please show this to Grandma McCubbins? We successfully made Grandma Durham's delicous pumpkin pie! They were a big hit!!

Said corn rows. Baiely is pretty handy when it comes to hair styles!

The Redding Capeners, Bailey's aunt and cousin. Back: Merete, Thor, Becks, Lars. Front: Annelise, Hans, Nels and Serina. Such an amazing and welcoming family. We had a great time with them!

Me and Buzz on the Sacramento River with the sweet Sundial Bridge behind us. It's quite an amazing feat of engineering!

Just a pretty pic of the bridge

The Concord Capeners and our gracious hosts: Kelen, Teemaree, Mike, Merit Bailey and Anders (pronounced Ahners) So fun staying with them for a week!

Twins with the Golden Gate Bridge. We discovered we have the exact same sweatshirt, but mine just has some Alaska stuff on it (not visible in this picture)

Me, Buzz and Bai with da bridge

Bailey and me on our little walk. I just like my eyes in this pic, they seem to really pop!!!

I think this is called sibling love or something...

View of California we didn't expect to see...really pretty!

We went to the Jelly Belly Factory about 45 minutes away the first day we went there. It was so cool! Unfortunately we couldn't take any pics during the tour which was the coolest part!

Me and my bro outside the factory

We ate at this place called Claim Jumpers. It really was good, so I'm not sure what this face is in regards to!

Our scary ride in the taxi. We took the trolley car across San Fran and were going to meet Bailey's dad there with the car, but we took off with the keys to the car in Teemaree's purse. Thus the insane car ride. Those streets in San Fran are off the hook!

Crossing this off my bucket list!!!! Ride a trolley car in San Francisco with Bailey! CHECK! And it was way fun!

Famous Pier 39

Anders insisted we go to the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum, so we did. This was in a tunnel where it felt like we were moving, but weren't...way trippy and ever since I've had vertigo my balance hasn't been as good and my ability to get dizzy fast has increased. SWEET!

The sea lions at the pier. They smelled really really bad!

Eating a....oh I forgot what it was....anyway, went to Fenton's Creamery (it's at the end of UP of you've seen it) and experienced a true Oakland/Concord/San Francisco treat!

This sign is at the entrance to the Oakland Temple and Visitor Center. It seriously says "Speed limit 9 1/2 MPH!"

Me and Buzz outside the Oakland Temple. You can go up on top of one of the levels and see all out across the bay. Unfortunately those pics didn't turn out so well.
Well I guess those are all the pics I decided to upload! It was a very nice week off of school in the warmth of California and so fun! I'm definitely going to have to go back soon and see it all again!!!
