Some changes...

So there have been some interesting happenings in my life the last, oh, week and a few days. So I got to Utah last Wednesday morning after a not so pleasant, sleepless all night flight direct from Anchorage to Salt Lake. Gwendy came and picked me up and it was so great to see her and hang out, even if it was in the sweltering (okay not really, but coming from cold alaska it was) heat! She dropped me off at Andy and Staci's where I took a much needed short nap then Anna and Matt came and we had a late lunch at this soup and salad buffet place. We got to chat for a while, but then they had to go down to Jennifer's house to stay the night. I slept at Andy and Staci's, then Jenna came and picked me up, taking me to her sister's (Laura) house in West Jordan, where we were until we left Saturday. We headed out of Salt Lake, stopping in Ogden to see Estelle! That was fun chatting with her, but unfortunately Scott was at work and didn't get to enjoy my presence. oh well! Then we made our way to Logan, where we got to meet up with our dear friend and fellow posse member, Ali. We had a fun few hours remeniscing (sp?) and just cathing up on old times. And I just realized if I keep giving a play by play like this I"ll be here for like a year and a half, and I have so much to do.
So to keep it short, I found a place to live, but want to switch with this girl who is currently Keirstin's room mate cause she doesn't even want to live there, but I do, but she's not being very cooperative. Still working on that. And after a few months of planning on coming here, talking to my advisor, and switching my major to communications, the day before school starts my advisor FINALLY e-mails me to say he won't be on campus until sometime in October and hopes I can find help somewhere else. nice. so I went to uncle ed, and through many searchings and discoveries I think I'm gonna work on getting my associates right now, have that by the end of next semester, and go from there. So this means since I hadn't signed up for classes yet (at the advice from my absent advisor) I am having a real tough time getting ones that will get me credit towards my miniscule degree, but that sound interesting too and fit my schedule. It's a total mess right now. This has been probably the most stressful week of my college career ever. And I don't get stressed easily. Sheesh! WEll, I'm gonna go talk to Uncle Ed again for some much needed guidance. Wish me luck!
OH, and from today, only 20 days till Buzz gets home!! WOOOOOOOOTTTT!!!! sorry no pictures either!

hang in there. all that counselling stuff is frustrating, but some day you'll look back and be done and not really remember all the pain...
ok, samwise has been bawling for a sufficient amount of time- later, baby.

Awesome song! This was for this semester's Guitars Unplugged!
