Made it!

Whew, we made it down the Alcan (for my 3rd summer in a row!) Kierstin, Kammi and I left Kenai on Wednesday afternoon, made it up to Anchorage then Wasilla, stayed the night at Jenae's, then headed out around 11 on Thursday. We got across the border and to right outside of Haine's Junction, slept in the van that we drove down, the headed off the next day. We did this quite a few times. I don't know why, but it took us 4 days to get into Rexburg, where it usually takes me 3. It was eenoying. On Saturday night, we got to the border at about 11:40, only to find out that it had closed at 11, so we had to sleep one more night in Canada, then made it to Rexburg around 4:30, unloaded our stuff at our apartment, stopped at Ed and Bear's, then headed down to Sandy and stayed the night at Andy and Staci's, which is where I am now. waiting for Kammi to get out of the shower and Anna and Matt to get here from Vernal. Oh, and a happy birthday to Anna today! She's 24 and OLD! woot woot. OH, and I've gotten a slight cold. it's sucks, to say the least. I haven't been sick since January when I first arrived at school that semester, and here I am again sick for the start of school. Ugh. Okay, gotta skitter!
LOves,
HEIDI
p.s. sorry still no pictures, but I didn't want to take the time to upload them and what not.
